✨ What’s New in SF Symbols 7

Last week’s video dove deep into SF Symbols 7, and it’s packed with visual enhancements you’ll want to start using right away. From new draw effects like drawOn and drawOff, to symbol gradients, variable values, and seamless Magic Replace transitions—there’s something here for every SwiftUI developer looking to polish their UI in iOS and macOS 26. I even wrapped things up with a practical timer demo using these new features.

Explore Liquid Glass in SwiftUI on OS 26

Next week’s video kicks off a new series on Liquid Glass in SwiftUI. We start with buttons and visual comparisons, then move into containers, spacing, unions, and matched transitions. If you’re building for iOS, macOS, or watchOS, you’ll love what’s new in OS 26!

Should I Keep This Newsletter?

For the past ten editions, the subscriber count has leveled off at around 300. While I enjoy putting this together, it does take time each week, and I want to make sure it’s worth continuing.

That’s where you come in. I’d really like to know if you find this newsletter valuable. If so, what do you like most about it? If not, what would make it more useful?

Currently, the format has three parts:

  1. A recap of the video released the previous Sunday.
  2. A preview of the upcoming video.
  3. A rotating section — sometimes a deeper dive into a discovery, sometimes a more general topic.

Do you find these sections valuable, or do you already get the same information from my other channels? What would you prefer to see in the rotating section — practical Swift tips, more behind-the-scenes details, or something else entirely?

Your feedback will directly shape the future of this newsletter. Please take a moment to reply to slynch@createchsol.comand let me know your thoughts. Even a short note goes a long way in helping me decide whether to keep this going.
