Gearing Up for a Big WWDC 25 Video Drop
I’m really excited to start releasing my new videos covering what’s coming after WWDC 25. This is one of my favorite times of the year. Admittedly, it takes over my summer and probably tests my wife’s patience, but I can’t help diving deep into everything new and figuring out how to present it in a way that’s both clear and practical.
Over the past two months, I’ve been digging into the latest updates so I can give you meaningful, real-world insights. I now have five videos ready to go that will take us through August. The series kicks off with two videos on Xcode 26. After that, I’ll walk you through the new Icon Composer (preview below) and explore some of the improvements in SF Symbols.
Then comes the big one: Liquid Glass. I’ve planned out three videos so far, but there may be more. There’s a lot to unpack, and each beta brings new surprises. Sometimes, that means pulling an already uploaded video to re-record it after a last-minute framework change. It’s frustrating, but it’s part of the process when you’re chasing the cutting edge.
My hope is that this series helps breathe some new life into my YouTube channel. Subscriber growth has slowed from nearly 300 new subscribers per month to under 200. I’m not sure if the market is oversaturated or if fewer people are watching long-form content these days. I know many prefer reading, but I’ve always found that watching and working alongside someone helps things click. If you’re not already subscribed, your support would mean a lot.
And as promised, here’s a preview of Icon Composer.
